Sound Engineering, Podcasting & DJing
An 8-week hands-on program covering sound engineering, podcast production, and DJ techniques. Students learn audio recording, mixing, mastering, podcast creation, and live DJ performance skills. This program bridges technical audio skills with creative content production for the entertainment industry.
Week 1-2: Audio Fundamentals — Sound theory, equipment overview, DAW basics, microphone techniques Week 3-4: Recording & Mixing — Studio recording, multi-track mixing, EQ, compression, effects processing Week 5-6: Podcast Production & DJing — Podcast planning, recording, editing, DJ equipment, beatmatching, mixing techniques Week 7-8: Mastering & Live Performance — Audio mastering, live sound, DJ set preparation, final project presentation
20 sessions over 8 weeks. Tues & Thurs evenings, 7:30-8:45 PM. $800 tuition + $50 enrollment/insurance fee. Pay $950 at once or use 3-part payment plan.
