Week 1: Introduction to OSHA — History, standards, employee rights, employer responsibilities Week 2: Hazard Communication & PPE — Chemical safety, GHS, personal protective equipment selection Week 3: Walking/Working Surfaces & Electrical Safety — Fall protection, ladder safety, electrical hazards, lockout/tagout Week 4: Machine Guarding & Materials Handling — Equipment safety, ergonomics, forklift operations Week 5: Fire Protection & Emergency Plans — Fire extinguishers, evacuation, emergency response Week 6: Health Hazards & Record Keeping — Respiratory protection, noise exposure, OSHA 300 logs
Weekend day classes over 6 weeks. $800 tuition + $50 enrollment/insurance fee.
